Bill C-6 Update: Urgent Action Required – Last Chance!

UPDATE #2 : Dec. 15th, BILL C-6 UPDATE – The Senate passed several amendments to the bill and then passed the bill, sending it back to the Commons, as I understand it. The House is now adjourning for 6 weeks, so we can chalk up a victory here , but the battle is not over. Dee Nicholson will be posting more detailed analysis tonight or Wed. morning.

UPDATE #1: Dec. 15th, BILL C-6 UPDATE: I just found out that the Bill C-6 amendments were debated last night in the Senate, but it has NOT yet been voted on. Further debate is expected late this afternoon / this evening. Third reading and a vote will make it law, pending signature by the Gov. General, which will likely be automatic. PLEASE MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!!!

The Senate debated Bill C-6 on Thursday evening until after midnight Friday morning, but they adjourned over a procedural issue without the third and final vote. Senator Day’s amendments are still before before the Senate and still to be debated and voted upon.

The Senate reconvenes today (Monday) and will resume debate this evening.

There is a window of opportunity here to FAX, e-mail and / or call their offices today! (See info at the bottom)

If you read between the lines of Bill C-6, it has far-reaching implications, and may be applied to Natural Health Supplements, to Vaccines (WHO / IHR mandates) and just about anything they deem to be in the interest of “public safety” (or which they can justify under that guise), but DO NOT bring up such issues in your correspondence or phone calls or they will dismiss your concerns it out of hand.

Please focus on:

1. unconstitutionality, and

2. the power it gives to foreign entities and organizations to dictate Canadian policy, which is a violation of our national sovereignty and to our democratic form of governance.

Also, as Dee Nicholson has pointed out, this bill sets a dangerous precedent and various clauses of C-6 are passed “jointly and severally”, and as such, opens up a giant can of worms as these clauses can be transfered to other areas of federal jurisdiction too. C-6 is an affront to the rule of law and to the right to due process, which will be dispensed with, subjecting Canadians to ministerial dictates and discretion. Accused persons will be presumed guilty without right of redress.

If you have not yet made your voice heard on this issue yet, or even if you have done so in the past, do it again. NOW is your last chance!
